Every time it is winter I am reminded of how different the campus looks compared to the spring or summertime.  Sidewalks that were once vibrant with red bricks are now bleached white with frozen footsteps. As snow accumulates, new paths are made throughout the day. For example, when I walk to the dining halls, I can see the natural trails carved out from sleepy college students because there are no clean side-walks. However, my favorite part about campus during winter is seeing the occasional dog paw print. When it is cold and I look down to see a fresh print that belongs to something fluffy, I can't help but smile, which is a difficult thing to do when your face is numb from the harsh wind of winter.
