Winter Description

- White, fluffy snow

- Bright from the sun reflecting off the snow

- Lifeless, leafless trees

- Snow blown into drifts up the sides of buildings

- Long icicles, ready to drop when it's 5 degrees warmer

- Cars covered in a layer of dried salt

- Cracks in the sidewalk filled with frozen mush

- Large chunks of frozen snow sliding off the roof like a blanket

- Everyone's faces & hands red from the below-frozen temps

- Flakes blowing off of bare branches

The snow is white and fluffy, very powdery and soft. It has been blown into slopes against every building, and the large chunks sitting on the roofs slide off like a blanket as the temperature rises. Everyone walking outside has the same pink face and red hands from the chill of the below-frozen temperatures, trekking over the frozen mush filling the cracks in the sidewalk. Squinting from the bright white light of the sun reflecting off every square inch of snow, and from the flakes blowing off of bare tree branches. The trees look dead; they've been lifeless and leafless for a long time. Every car is covered in what looks like a layer of dust (really the dried salt flying off of the slushy roads), and the large icicles dangling from the edges of the buildings look ready to fall, slowly dripping.
